*Follow these instructions to calculate your fabric stretch percentage:

IMPERIAL :
Take a ruler/measuring tape and lay your fabric beside it. Hold fabric with your left fingers at 0″, right fingers at 5″.
Stretch until you feel resistance and look at how far you’ve stretched the fabric.
Calculate “stretched measurement” minus 5; divide number by 5 and multiply by 100
e.g. stretch from 5″ to 7″:
7-5=2
2/5=0.4
0.4 x 100 = 40%

METRIC:
Take a ruler/measuring tape and lay your fabric beside it. Hold the fabric with your left fingers at 0 cm, right fingers at 10 cm.
Stretch until you feel resistance and look at how far you’ve stretched the fabric.
Stretch up to 16 cm –> 60% stretch, stretch up to 12 cm –> 20% stretch.

COMMON STRETCH PERCENTAGES:
5″ to 5 1/2″ = 10%
5″ to 6″ = 20%
5″ to 7″ = 40%
5″ to 8″ = 60%

Even though all patterns are made according to the sizes in the sizing chart, you should always check the sizes by measuring the paper pattern before cutting out your pieces and make a mock-up when possible. Don’t hesitate to message me should you feel like something isn’t quite right!
To make the pattern as customizable as possible, this pattern does not yet include seam allowance. While instructions on the recommended seam allowance are included, please don’t hesitate to ask me to draft the pattern with seam allowance included for you!
(Should a piece already include seam allowance, this will be mentioned in the pattern instructions and on the pattern sheet.)

The pattern sheet includes all sizes in one. All sizes are colour-coded and have their own line-style.
Please let me know if you have trouble locating your size.

If you need a different size, send me a message, before buying the pattern, with your bust, waist and hip measurements.
Occasionally, I will need more measurements to alter the pattern, and I will send you a message indicating what measurements I need.

The pattern will only be made once I have all the measurements required.

Please keep in mind that you will NOT receive a physical garment or pattern. This listing is for a printable PDF pattern to make the garment yourself.

• Iron fabric before cutting to ensure accurate pattern placement and to avoid possible shrinkage.

7. Printing & Assembly Guidelines
• This pattern is available in Layered A4, Letter and A0 printing formats.

• Print and measure the test square before cutting fabric to confirm correct scaling.
• Align and tape pages according to the guide in the instructions.

8. Fitting Tips & Adjustments
• Before Cutting Fabric: Compare your body measurements to the size chart.
Tip: If between sizes, choose the larger size and adjust accordingly.
Common Adjustments:
o Full Bust / Small Bust Adjustment: If needed, adjust the bust darts or add/remove ease.
o Length Adjustments: If you are taller or shorter than the pattern is designed for, adjust bodice, sleeve, or hem length accordingly.
• Material Substitutions:
o If using woven fabric instead of knit, consider adding a zipper or buttons for ease of wear.
o If using heavier fabric, test the drape and adjust seam allowances accordingly.
o If using lightweight fabric, reinforce seams and hems with interfacing where needed.
Always sew a test garment (muslin) before cutting into your final fabric to check fit!

9. Troubleshooting Guide
• Garment too tight: Check seam allowances and fabric stretch percentage.
• Gaping neckline: Try adjusting shoulder seams or adding darts.
• Uneven hemline Ensure your fabric is properly laid out and not stretched while cutting.
• Fabric keeps shifting while sewing: Use stabilizers, pins, or clips to keep layers in place.
• Puckering seams: Adjust thread tension and test stitches on fabric scraps first.
• Skipping stitches: Use a ballpoint needle for knits and a sharp needle for woven fabrics.
